Bob Jackson, keyboardist and guitarist for the band, attributes their continuous success to the type of music they made: "Music has changed a lot, nowadays artists are more interested in the rhythm rather than the topline or the lyrics. In the sixties, the melody, the lyrics and the topline were all important to us. That era was like a melting pot for great contemporary songs. Our music had strong melodies, they were short and concise, they didn't go on forever - they were strong songs. And there's still a demand for that, even now."
"Our music is being picked up by the young and old alike. 'Baby Blue' was played at the end of Breaking Bad, and Mariah Carey and Harry Nilsson both covered 'Without You' exposing us to new audiences. We were lucky to have straddled both the pop and the rock market, people who stuck to one 'lane' haven't had the success we have had."
