Jukebox Heroes (S2.E5)  Badfinger: Maybe Tomorrow
Episode aired Aug 6, 2002

This show was broadcast in the UK as part of a BBC series called "Jukebox Heroes" on August 6, 2002. The presenter was Mark Lamarr. It Includes interviews with Bill Collins, the group's manager, Mike Gibbins the group's drummer, Ron Griffiths the bass player of the original group The Iveys, the former girlfriend of Pete Ham, Beverley Tucker, and the widow of Tommy Evans, Marianne Evans. The documentary is a short 30 minutes but contains some good interviews and clips. It's a great reminder of the triumphs and tragedies of one of my favorite bands of all time.

Coventry music legend Bob Jackson on Badfinger's long lost album

2024/12/11   A 30 minute interview with Vic Minett on BBC Radio CWR

21:35 - 50:18
Badfinger were hailed as the new Beatles but were mismanaged and exploited - driving two members of the band to sadly, take their own lives. Despite writing and recording some wonderfully memorable music, Badfinger went down in the annals of rock history for all the wrong reasons... however 50 years on, their lost music is being released, thanks Bob Jackson, the last remaining member of the band. He joins Vic Minett to talk about the band and the upcoming album release.

The Iveys - Maybe Tomorrow - Radio One (BBC) version (1969)

The Iveys live group arrangement of Maybe Tomorrow. If you saw the group live in a theatre in 1969, this is how the song would have sounded.
Recorded: March 11, 1969 at BBC's Aeolian Hall Studio 2 (Aeolian House) and originally aired on April 4, 1969 on the Jimmy Young Show (BBC Radio One).
