Pioneers of 70s power pop and blessed with great commercial success (estimates speak of 14 million records sold), the Welsh band Badfinger recorded five albums for the Beatles' Apple label between 1968 and 1973, also often performing live.
This unofficial limited edition box set (300 numbered copies) by Wonderland collects on four CDs the best of their unreleased or little-known recordings, also dating back to the period before the contract with Apple when the band led by the singer, guitarist and keyboardist Pete Ham was still called Iveys: the rich program includes studio rarities, auditions, a "reimagined" version of the first album, studio sessions with Paul McCartney (who wrote the hit "Come And Get It" for them), BBC Sessions and a concert recorded in New York, while the video support collects live performances on TV and promotional clips made both as Iveys and Badfinger. The package is enriched by a 16-page booklet.
