I gave him the name again, and he opened up a giant book, and thumbed through the pages to Pete's name, and I saw the listing, Ham, Peter William. He pointed out to the garden, saying there was no gravestone, but that's the area his ashes were scattered.

Geoff Brookes という Swansea の作家が2016年2月10日に Pete Ham のお墓に行ったところ、竿石？（もともとこういう状態だった）がなくなっており、手前の左右の花立？（この写真は右側部分）しか残っていないとのこと。 これ自体は 2013年4月28日に建てられたばかりのものらしい。撤去されたのは2015年の8月末との未確認情報も（関係ないと思うけど、ピートの兄のジョンが亡くなったのは8月13日)。 竿石の裏に書かれていた文が問題だったのか? (その後、2016年7月15日現在、元の位置に戻っているが、裏面の文字が消されているみたい)
彼は何冊も本を出版しているようで、
2016年7月15日には A-Z of Swansea: Places-People-History という本を出版予定で、内容は
Random stories from Swansea's past linked to letters of the alphabet とのこと。
これの「H」の部分に Pete Ham が登場だそうです。
